is a store located in Castro Valley. They have a variety of crafting products (paper and otherwise) as well as classes in stamping, scrapbooking, Copic markers, and others. I am happy to announce that I will be teaching classes at Jazzy Crafts (as well as A Work of Heart). My first class in Saturday,May 5th from 3-5pm. The project:

Basic Card Making with Die Cuts

Just a friendly reminder, I list all my upcoming classes on the right side of my blog. Tomorrow's class at A Work of Heart Studio is simple card making with die cuts (and stamps, of course!). A Bit of Inspiration

The New Year means new beginnings. It also can be new sources of inspiration. There are 2 recommendations should be in need of a bit of help.

Strathmore Art supplies offer free on-line classes. I did several of these last year. This week began a 4 week mixed media class by Traci Bautista. Each week consists of video techniques, with a PDF of the class that you can download and save. Information can be found http://www.strathmoreartiststudio.com/

Another fun source of inspiration can be found at Nathalie's Studio blog. She has a series from a variety artist for a "Creative Jump Start" for 2012. So far, there have been 3 videos - all with great information. You can find her blog here.

A Few Changes...

I just wanted to take a few moments to let you know of some changes to my blog. They are pretty minor and may not affect many of you. If you are having trouble subscribing with Google, Yahoo or some of the other options, I have added a "Subscribe by e-mail" box on the left.  Also, as I mention earlier, i will be teaching classes using Club Scrap products (as well as many others) at A Work of Heart in San Jose. I have a direct link to A Work of Heart on the right (the row of houses). I will also be posting the upcoming classes just below the link.

If you are not a Club Scrap member or are curious, you may want to come to a class. You will learn something new and have the opportunity to work with and view the wonderful products. As always, any comments or suggestions are welcome!
